On Saturday, August 25th I had my first official photo session at the studio! ???? There are a few finishing touches to do and I’m waiting on the new artwork for the walls to arrive but we’re back open for business!
This summer we’ve been remodeling Photo Fusion Studio The studio has been run as a co-op for other photographers for over 7-years but since officially taking over sole ownership of the studio earlier this year it was time for a refresh. Since the studio was operated as a co-op, we kept the design and simple and open so that photographers and other creatives would feel welcome. I’ll do a another blog post with plenty of before and after photos.

The first official client at the remodeled studio was Katrina Quinn, a realtor in Phoenix, AZ. Katrina also happens to be the wife of another one on my clients, Brock Quinn, with State Farm Insurance. I was fortunate to meet Katrina and Brock back in 2014 when I photographed their proposal!
Here is a little behind the scenes of Katrina’s headshot session. At our studio you’ll have the unique opportunity to review and select your winning photographs immediately during your session. This is pretty unique in that you get to see your photographs instantly to make sure you look your best in your headshots. Katrina was able to see right away if her left-side or her right-side was her better side, plus how her hair was looking, if her posture was right, whether chin up or down was more flattering. Katrina is also a busy lady so this instant review also made the session much more efficient and productive. I ended up only taking a a handful of photos because we could quickly make any corrections needed. So she spends more time doing what she likes and less time in front of the camera!
